3. Castellar de n’Hug: The Fonts del Llobregat

The main tourist attraction of Castellar de n’Hug is the source of the river Llobregat, the so-called Fonts del Llobregat.

A short and easy walk takes us along a well-signposted and well-maintained path to the source of one of the most important rivers in Catalonia, the Llobregat. In approximately 20 minutes and 1 km of route (one way), we go down the cobbled path full of stairs that takes us to the place where the water springs from inside the mountain forming a beautiful waterfall. It is a visit suitable for all ages and a classic of the Alt Berguedà.

On the last weekend of August, the village holds an International Standing Dog Contest.
