Services in Cadí Vacances
Tourist information: at the reception we will inform you of the places you can’t miss during your stay.
Small pantry: mini shop next to the bar where you will find the most basic items: milk, drinks, charcoal, etc.
Oven: Hot bread and pasta service every morning, from 9am. Preferably to order.
Bar-restaurant: A la carte and takeaway service: salads, gutters, croquettes, french fries, macaroni, pizzas, etc.
Internet access
The Gósol valley is a very closed valley, surrounded by high mountains. Its spectacular landscape makes it difficult to receive mobile data coverage.
Vodafone and Movistar are the only two telephone companies that provide service in the area.
Cadí Vacances has free Wi-Fi in public areas: bar, restaurant, terrace and kids club.
To obtain Wifi in the accommodation or on the plot it is necessary to contract with prior reservation an individual wireless router (6 € / day) minimum 2 days.
We hope that in the future we will receive fiber optics and we can offer you better service.
Services in Gósol
Cadí Vacances is located at the southern entrance of the village of Gósol. On foot you can access all its services.
Almost all the bars, restaurants and shops in Gósol are concentrated in Plaça Major.
Postal service: Monday to Friday from 12 noon to 12:15 pm. Ctra. de Josa, s / n, next to the social premises.
Weekly market: Thursday
Grocery stores have everything but are small. If you want to make an important purchase in Berga there are large stores: Bon Preu, Carrefour, etc.
ATM
Gósol does not have an ATM, nor does any village in the valley. The nearest cashier is in Guardiola de Berguedà, 27 km away. Some establishments accept credit cards but most are best paid in cash.
Gas station
There is only one petrol station on the Valls del Cadí and Pedraforca roads, 8 km from Cadí Vacances towards Saldes.
Potable water
The water from the taps of Cadí Vacances can be drunk with total safety. You don’t need to buy bottled water unless you have an intolerance to water change.
The water from the mountain springs is not chlorinated but can be drunk. Of course, avoid water from rivers that run through pasture fields, it could have harmful microorganisms.
What do I put in the suitcase?
Cadí Vacances is located at an altitude of 1,400 meters and the weather can change suddenly from one day to the next, so you will have to put in your suitcase a selection of layers of clothes that you can put on or take off depending on the weather.
Also, wear at least a warm sweater, fleece liner, a raincoat or umbrella, and comfortable walking shoes. Even though it’s summer, remember that in the evening it can be refreshing.
If it’s winter, you’ll need an anorak, scarf, gloves, and warm boots.
And if I rented a bungalow, what should I bring?
The bungalows and cabins are equipped with basic kitchen utensils so you can cook and eat comfortably. Anyway, we recommend that you take home those utensils you are used to cooking with, it can be a special spoon, a knife, etc.
The kitchen utensils you must bring from home are:
- Tablecloths and napkins
- Kitchen cloth
- Setrilleras, salt and mortar
If you need minipimer, we can leave it at the reception.
Inventory varies slightly depending on the type of accommodation. To be more secure, here you can consult the inventory of the accommodation you have booked: INVENTORIES
The refrigerator of the Deluxe and Comfort models is large. The fridge of the other models is small, under the table, with a small freezer, like a drawer. You have to keep that in mind!
Bed linen and towels are included in the Deluxe model, in the other models they are optional. You can bring them from home, the bed sizes are 135 x 190 and 80 x 190. You also have the option to rent them with prior reservation. The rates for the whole stay are as follows: double sheets: 3 €, single sheets: 2 €, set of two towels: 3 €. Blankets are always included.
All accommodations have a Cleaning Kit with a scrubber, a rag and a garbage bag. There is also a dishwasher soap dispenser and two dishwasher soap bars if the accommodation has one.
In the bathroom you will find 2 rolls of complimentary toilet paper. If your stay is long you can bring more or buy them at the camping tent.
Can I have a barbecue?
Yes. All bungalows have a private barbecue and have a grill and tongs. There is also a picnic area with two barbecues and two wooden tables for users of cabins or plots.
In the tent of the campsite you will find charcoal (for safety it is not allowed to burn firewood) and fire pellets.
Washers and dryers
There is a laundry room with two washing machines and a dryer. They work with two € 2 coins. Soap capsules are sold in the store.
What time can I enter the campsite?
If you have booked accommodation (bungalow or cabin) the check-in time is from 16:00 to 20:00. If you plan to arrive later, please let us know and we will tell you how you can access your accommodation directly without going through reception. The departure time of the accommodation and the campsite is from 8:30 to 11:00.
If you have reserved a plot, the check-in time is from 12:00 to 20:00, and the check-out is from 8:00 to 12:00.
This summer, due to security control conditions, we will not be able to accept tickets before the corresponding check-in time or extend check-out times.
Reception is open from 09:30 until 13:30 and from 16:00 until 20:00.
Can I come with my dog?
In Cadí Vacances dogs are welcome, except for those breeds considered potentially dangerous according to current legislation. To enjoy a good coexistence, all you have to do is respect the minimum rules: have the documentation in order, always keep them tied and avoid some common areas such as the playground or the swimming pool.
In the accommodation it is necessary to indicate in advance if you will come accompanied by your dog. In some accommodations their presence is not allowed so we reserve them for customers with allergies.

Mountain safety
Enjoy the mountain but with maximum safety. You may or may not reach the top, but returning home is a must.
Remember the motto of experienced mountaineers: Mountains do not move!
Healthy and saving following these 5 basic rules.
1. Plan and inform others about the route you will take.
2. Adapt the planned routes according to your physical condition.
3. Check the weather forecast. He thinks that in the mountains the weather can suddenly get worse.
4. Bring the necessary equipment: map, compass, flashlight, water, warm clothes and mobile phone.
5. Choose safe routes marked with signs, signs or landmarks.

The most common way to get there is the private vehicle, but there is also a transport service on demand that makes the journey between Guardiola del Berguedà and Gósol
Climatology
Due to the high altitude, the climate is temperate in summer and cold in winter. The air is pure and dry, avoiding the existence of fog and humid environment. This feature is very healthy for everyone but especially for people with respiratory problems or joint pain.
